As described in the poster, vaguely vintage is a modular typeface that I have created using a set of 21 modules to create every character and glyph in the set. I wanted the typeface to feel like nostalgic and comforting, while maintaining a polished and complete appearance. Above, is the poster displaying the typeface and a description of my creative process.

In addition to creating the typeface itself, I have created a mockup of how the typeface would appear naturally. Perhaps this would be used for a cozy coffee company or comforting coffee grounds. I used the same "branding" with the fragmented characters set in the background of each.
